Die Leitha (oder ungarisch "Lajta") durchfließt das Nordburgenland auf einer Länge von etwa fünfzehn Kilometern mit leichtem Gefälle von 157 m Seehöhe bei Bruckneudorf auf 144 m Seehöhe bei Nickelsdorf und mündet auf 120 m Seehöhe im ungarischen Mosonmagyaróvár in die Kleine Donau (Mosoni-Duna), einem Seitenarm der Donau.
Bitte benützt die angegebene Parkmöglichkeit und gönnt euch einen schönen Spaziergang durch die Nickelsdorfer Leithaauen.

The Leitha (or Hungarian "Lajta") which flows through the northern Burgenland over a length of about fifteen kilometers, with a slight slope from 157 m above sea level near Bruckneudorf to 144 m above sea level at Nickelsdorf and ends 120 m above sea level in Hungarian Mosonmagyaróvár in the Little Danube (Moson-Duna), a tributary of the Danube.
Please use the specified parking place and get yourself a nice walk through the Leitha-meadows of Nickelsdorf.
