Geocache Description:

This remote historical treasure is definately worth going out of your way to find! One of my favorite places on the Mark Twain National Forest, this mill is nestled in between picturesque hillsides, giving you the sense of what it must have been like when settlers came across this hidden gem. The mill was used to create electricity, grind corn, and make shingles. If you're like me and have an irresistable urge to climb around and check things out, the building housing the wheel (which is fully intact) is open for exploration. There is also a small waterfall pouring out of the rocks behind the mill structure. A rustic log cabin that's over 100 years old can also be found on the property. Enjoy!
