The first in a Comedian Series of puzzle caches! This one pays homege to Mel Brooks!
I drive by here several times every week. I thought the cache site would be neat for my FIRST EVER cache. jecepe08 inspired the idea of caches paying homage to our favorite comedians. I recently heard an interview of Mel Brooks on an NPR radio show, and thus the idea for this cache was born! FTF will find a 2 dollar bill that you can track on wheresgeorge.com. Well, on to the puzzle! There's much to do, and less time to do it in!
Note: The GPS coordinates shown are not the coordinates for the cache. To Get the actual coordinate, please have some fun with some Mel Brooks trivia, while solving the following:
N 40 AB.CDE
W 111 FG.HIJ

J- This is the last digit of the year in which Mel Brooks was born.
The given waypoint is the dead center of the center of a sort of traffic circle. The cache ins't there, but is 1/4 mile away. Solving the puzzle will put you within 10 feet of the cache, so I didn't try too hard to hide this from Geocachers. Casual passers-by probably won't know it's there. The hint will be a giveaway, if you have the right coordinates.
