Geocache Description:

Welcome to our series of freaky things. These caches are along a bike trail and should provide an afternoon of fun for the family.

When we first came to the territory we were living near a indigenous community 75kms west of Batchelor and got invaded with these huge flies with big green eyes. When we asked what they were we were told “Para Flies”. The problem was they bit, and they hurt! Fortunately they seem to be restricted to up round Darwin so we are safe from them here in Katherine!
 
If you are riding this series please note; the first cache is 3.4km from town and there is 5km from first to last so take plenty of water with you.
You are looking for a small cylinder with a pathtag for the FTF.
