Welcome to our series of freaky things. These caches are along a bike trail and should provide an afternoon of fun for the family.
These do freak me out as I have had close encounters of the nasty kind while camping. The funniest time was as a small girl of about 6 yrs old camping in the Flinders Ranges with the family. I looked up and saw something that to me looked really big and alien like just above my head on the tent wall. I called out to my parents and mum pulled me away from the “alien” and Dad set about killing the scorpion. All I remember is seeing the exterior of the tent jump around as dad chased the scorpion with a hammer!! It looked like a cartoon!
If you are riding this series please note; the first cache is 3.4km from town and there is 5km from first to last so take plenty of water with you.
You are looking for a small sistema container with a pathtag for FTF.
And now for a joke!
Walter was feeling pretty lonely. So he decided to go buy a pet. When he got to the pet store he said "I don't want the usual, I want a special rare pet", so the guy sold him a centipede in a white box.
Walter takes his new pet home and gets excited. He says" How about we go to the bar and get a few drinks" and waits for a response but hears nothing.
He asks again" how about we go to my friend Frank's place and hang out there and have a few drinks?"
Still no response, so Walter starts to get agitated. Finally he says "Hey CENTIPEDE, you wanna go to a bar?!?!"
Suddenly he hears a tiny voice from inside the box
“I heard you the first time! I'm putting my flaming shoes on!"
