At GZ you'll find some historical pump equipment, set out as a monument to the history of irrigation in this area..
The pump station at this location serves 5000 hectares of vinyards, orchards and farms in the Renmark Irrigation District.
Without this pumping equipment, those industries could not exist.
Be sure to read the plaque near GZ for some interesting info on the history of the area.
