Clues from seven virtual caches - one in Boone and six around
the darker side of Boone County - lead to a real cache in a haunted
forest. Going at night adds to the atmosphere. I didn't actually
believe this area was haunted until I stumbled on a website about
it after the idea of this cache was already conceived.
Steps have been arranged in order to minimize total driving
distance, which is about 15 miles.
Coordinates given above are only for the general area and
have no significance in solving the cache.
Substitute the given letters in the coordinates for steps 6-10
with the corresponding numbers from Table 1 of R. V. R. Cache #1.
Remember that if a letter appears more than once in the table,
always use the first occurrence of that letter (starting from the
left)!!

CAUTION: On the road from Step 7 to Step 8, the pavement ends
just over the crest of a hill with no warning, right before a sharp
gravel curve. Don't slide off the road!

To solve for the coordinates to the final cache site, replace
the letters that appear in the coordinates with the corresponding
number below that letter from Table 2. If a letter appears more
than once in the table, always use the first occurrence of that
letter (starting from the left) Repeat occurrences of a letter
are not used. Leave the letters and numbers that currently appear
in their places. Be careful to differentiate zeros (0) from the
letter O.
Cache #2 Location, using Table 2: The parking lot for
this area is at the end of the dirt road that goes west from
42°0U.UAO'N, 93°5R.TLA'W. You can also park at the bottom of
the hill to avoid the dirt road if it's too muddy, the hike is
shorter but not as nice. The final site is located at
42°0O.YIL'N, 93°5N.FMM'W . Beware of spiders!
