Geocache Description:

Cache is part of my Hwy 35 series designed for people travelling in our out of Rockport. When going to place this cache, I was surprised to find one already in place. It was obvious this was placed a long time ago and had never been published. I decided to keep the old one there.. Call me nostalgic.

Cache is on the birding platform overlooking the Gradalupe River Delta WMA. This is major migratory bird flyway. The freshwater inflow is important in maintaining food supply for birds such as geese, sandhills, and the whooping crane.   There is no need to get off the platform. Site is also site number 36 on the Coastal Birding Trail.
