Dies ist unser 2. eigener Cache, gelegt in unserer 2. Heimat am Lago Maggiore.
Dieser Cache führt euch über einen Pfad zu einem tollen Wasserfall. Leider hatten wir Geländebedingt nur recht schlechten GPS Empfang, die Stages sollten aber trotzdem gut zu finden sein.
Wir empfehlen evtl. Badebekleidung und ein Handtuch mitzunehmen.
Die Dose haben wir vor 3 Jahren - im Jahr 2010 - gelegt und leider den Aufschrieb mit allen Daten verloren. Nun, 3 Jahre später haben wir die Dose immer noch unversehrt und trocken an ihrem Platz gefunden was uns motiviert hat diesen Cache nun zu veröffentlichen.
This is our 2nd own cache hidden close to our 2nd home at the Lago Maggiore.
The cache guides you via a path to a beautiful waterfall. Based on the landscape unfortunately the GPS coordinates may deviate. Nevertheless all stages should be easy to be found.
We suggest you take a towel and potentially bathing clothes with you.
Originally we have hidden the box 3 years ago - in 2010 - but lost all our notes. Now 3 years later we found the box dry and in good shape at its original place. This finally motivated us to finally publish this cache.

Hier könnt ihr am Strassenrand parken und findet auch gleich ein Schild dem ihr einen Hinweis entnehmen solltet. "Cascata della _ _ _ _ _"
Addiert die Zahlenwerte der Buchstaben des letzten Wortes auf dem Schild = A

Stage 3: N 45 56. A x 2 + 8 E 008 41. B x 17 + 4
Evtl. müsst ihr eurem Ergebnis eine 0 (null) voranstellen.
Im optimalen Fall steht ihr nun auf einem großen Felsbrocken ca. 10m dicht am Final und könnt es schön anpeilen (sorry unser GPS hat hier 25m Abweichung angezeigt). Wenn ihr den gleichen Blick habt den das Spoilerbild zeigt, seit ihr richtig.
Bei, oder nach stärkeren Regenfällen könnten die letzten Meter zum Final von unten und oben etwas feucht werden. Bitte haltet die Dose schön trocken und legt sie genau wieder dorthin wo sie war damit sie nicht fortgeschwemmt wird.
Potentially you need to put a leading 0 (zero) to your calculated result.
Now you should stand on a large rock only 10 m away from the Final. From the rock you now can take a bearing to the final (sorry our GPS was showing 25m deviation). When you have the same view than the spoiler picture is showing you should be right.
During or after stronger rain the last meters to the final might be whet from below and above. Please keep the box dry and put it back exactly as you found it to avoid that it may float away.

EDIT 2019/07/03 Ich habe die Dose überprüft und sie war immer noch da. Allerdings in schlechtem Zustand da das Logbuch sehr nass war. Ich habe Dose und Logbuch zum trocknen mit nach Hause genommen. Der Cache wird ab 2019/08/15 wieder aktiv sein!.
We checked the box and it was still at its original place. Unfortunately in bad condition as the logbook was completely wet. I took box and logbook back home for drying. The cache will be re-activated 2019/08/15. Have fun! Lizard.de
