Geocache Description:

Pat Garrett owned this property at one time. He paid $275 for it according to the current owner. One of the Lincoln County War sites. You can read all about it on the historic sign up front. Wonderful photo op from cache site looking back toward highway.

Placed with permission of owners. The cache is on private property. Please be respectful. It's best if you walk back to the cache, but you can drive to it if necessary.

Also, please don't look for this one at night. Folks will be sleeping nearby and the resident ghost might get you!
