We mustache you a question: Are you tough enough for 4,400 feet of elevation gain? Can your knees handle a 12 mile hike? But mostly, can you rock the ‘stache in all of its glory?
This was our first cache placement and we hope you like it! We came across this perfect lunch spot off of a ridgeline on Anthill Trail during a 2-night backpacking trip up Herman Creek and back. After a long slog through the woods we came by an open area that had lovely views of Wahtum Lake and Mount Hood and decided that it would be the perfect location for a cache.
There are several ways to access this geocache. The easiest would be to park at Wahtum Lake and hike up the ridge line on Anthill trail. However, the one that gets you the best bragging rights is to pack in from either Eagle Creek or Herman Creek. Either way you will be foot sore but happy that you climbed the ridge line for beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

There are multiple mustache stickers for everyone who can bag this geocache.
