Geocache Description:

The Brown Teddies have adopted this cache, in memory of its original CO, Harry Ashcroft.

Another of the coastal access points around the Cartmel Peninsula. On the Cumbria Coastal Path.


Nearby Sandgate is another popular access point for the local fishermen and their tractors. They don't use boats around here.

The cache situated on the Cumbria Coastal Path but can also be accessed by road to within a few hundred yards. Don't leave your vehicle on the foreshore if the tide is coming in. The car park sometimes gets covered during high tides.


A micro container a bit bigger than a 35mm film canister. Please replace the cache deep in its hidey hole.
