MarshallOD and My Dal Leo set out on this road once again, thier favorite shortcut to the "dmit" slopes above, where some of our favorite hides are, like "Broken Stick." Today it was to seek out "Nice View" and "Beyond the Stick."
Many thanks to MarshallOD for allowing me to adopt this and several others of his caches. Best wishes, Joe, to you and your family as you return to California. ~rsg
Following this road makes for an easy hiking ascent to the top. This location marks a U-turn where you begin to ascend in earnest, but it's an easy, comfortable rise. We thought others should benefit from this shortcut besides us. Or, perhaps you just want to see how it starts and save the best for later.
Not long after we placed this small cache we learned that our timetable for relocating from Utah to California was going to be months shorter than we had expected. Now, because of that, this small cache needs a big hearted owner who's willing to take good care of it. We promise it's small and doesn't require much effort to maintain. It will offer many rewards of ownership: logs expressing appreciation for its placement, the exercise of hiking to it, big views with just a small amount of exhertion.
Would you be willing to enjoy those benefits?
Adoption could be by first request or by FTF. The former has already been offered; the latter is yet to come! Every good cache deserves to be found, and maintained. Which would you prefer to do?
