One of four caches along the Wallenpaupack Lake Trail, originally set as part of an event cache. Start at the PPL Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center and walk down the road to the shoreline, to meet the trail.
Lake Wallenpaupack was completed in 1926 as a hydroelectric power plant. Today, it is still generating electricity for the company and community. Wildlife and outdoor recreational enthusiasts enjoy Lake Wallenpaupack's natural, scenic integrity.
