Geocache Description:

Jacob’s Cache 6 – The Devvies was hidden on a red-hot Sunday afternoon by two of the Tearcon family along with Jerry The Wonder-Dog, marking an area known throughout much of the local area as ‘The Devvies’ after Dewidales Wood, which can be found just up this country lane.

The ‘Jacob’s Cache’ mini-series has been placed to celebrate the end of Jacob’s first year at Hull University and his coming home for the summer. The area is significant in many ways and he has spent some very happy hours here as a child and as a teenager. The decision to make a series rather than a single cache was made by his younger brother, to make it ‘special’ and to make it more meaningful. The series is made up of nine caches, all along the road from North Anston to Woodsetts.
