No need to cross a fence of any kind - but there may be muggles with baseball bats (watch they don't hit you in the CAP.), skeeters and dog poo off the path, so bring the bug juice and clean socks. Area is a normal place in the park folks visit and there may be people walking by all hours of the day. There is also a disc golf course in the park so keep your eyes open, or get bonked in the head.
