Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the 2013 Blitz.  In honour of the 2013 theme of "Go Big" this is intended to grow the caching community by building community through mentorship.
Please use stealth; this is a great little park, therefore it's popular.
Congrats Hollyburn & Sniffy79 for FTF.

To claim this challenge cache, there must be at least two cachers finding it together - one cacher with less than 100 finds, and one cacher with more than 1,000. Logs must mention the caching name of who you are with for the find.

dappled sunlight
The seasoned cacher enjoyed the sunlight dappled on the grass through the ancient trees surrounding this old and oft-forgotten park.  His pace was casual, and he paused briefly.

The novice along with him looked anxiously about, still excited about their quick find of the cleverly hidden cache at the other end of this park. The impatience of the newer cacher was all-too obvious to the veteran, and he chuckled just before he pulled a slow, methodical draw on his pipe.

"Here," said the mentor, "let's sit on this bench for a moment."

"Oh, is it one of those magnetic nanos? Stuck to the bench?" queried the mentored cacher.

"No, it's a few metres off yet. I think I can see it from here. But let's just soak in this beautiful old park for a moment."

"Really?" sighed the novice as he dropped impatiently onto the bench. "Why wait? Let's grab it and then get another one."

the bench
The wizened cacher grinned at his associate for the day, took another slow draw on his pipe, looked about and said "Did you see that photo on the tree back there?"

"No, was that a clue, or a stage?"

"I don't believe so, but it was interesting. Why do you think it was there?"

The newer cacher was starting to really get aggravated by the irrelevent questions. They were on a mission - sure, it's not a power trail, but he really wanted to get his numbers up and find as many new caches as he could. He thought to himself "This guy clearly has no idea what he's doing and is just wasting time because he can't find the cache."

"Have you ever heard the expression," the mentor started deliberately "it's not about the numbers?"

"Sure."

"And?"

"Well of course it's about the numbers. Look at how many you've found. And you have one day with over 150 caches!"

"Sometimes it's about the numbers - when you're out with friends on a power trail, or having a friendly competition with other cachers you've gotten to know. But usually, it's about where you're going, and who you're going there with."

There was a moment of silence while the mentor let his words sink in. The birds chirped about overhead, and the absence of cars driving by was noticeable to both.  The newer cacher paused and started to understand why the more experienced cacher had so many finds.

And now it was time to go claim the challenge cache.

Thanks to Flintstone4 for assisting with cache maintenance to keep this grandfathered challenge cache available.

Cache is at the given coordinates, but challenge conditions should be met in order to log this one.
