This is a pleasant 2 mile stroll along the Ashby Canal from Gospall Wharf Bridge to Shackerstone. There is ample parking at Gospall Wharf Car Park. There are 10 caches to find along the way, varying in size from nano to small tub. All are beside or just off the towpath.
This stroll is child friendly, but please keep an eye on them as you are walking along the towpath, which a good off road buggy is advisable, as it can get narrow in places and will get muddy after rain.
The Ashby Canal here is very rural and quiet with few narrow boats going passed, but there are always dog walkers around so stealth may be required.
Continue along the towpath from the last cache, keeping a look out for the letter "P".
This cache is approx 1/2 way between Gospall Wharf and Shackerstone.
Again getting good co-ords was difficult due to the tree cover so if they are to far out please let us know.
