Those who are only attending the event and not entering the park for any other purpose, will not need to stop at the park office to pay daily fee. The Event Pavillion is outside the main park grounds. Please be aware there is very limited parking in the event area, carpooling is highly reccomended.
We are moving the event to a new venue with new caching territory in the surrounding area, so come cache the area on Friday, join us camping for the night, enjoy the event on Saturday, camp again, and finish caching the area on Sunday, before you head home.
There will be fun for everyone! We have booked the "Large Pavillion" for the event. This facility is actually outside the park proper, so the coordinates are for the park office.
Lunch will be a Pot-Luck, if you wish to offer a dish or volunteer to bring supplies, please post it here on the cache page. The pavillion has a counter area with sink and 2 BBQ grills .

So, gather your caching contraband and start thinking like a geocacher to create that killer cache container for the Octoberfest 2013 Cache Container Contest.
There will once again be two Categories:
1) Most Creative: Imaginative, interesting, cute -- overall creative in design and execution.
2) Most Challenging: Evil, difficult, well-camoed -- overall challenging in design and execution
Awards and prizes will be presented to 1st - 3rd place in each catagory. Of course, there is also that intangible reward: peer recognition!
