Geocache Description:

Part of the national Church Micro series. Less than 30 metres walking in total should be required, although access to the cache would be a little tricky for wheelchair users.
 

A straightforward, traditional cache, formerly a camo 'clip and lock' with a log book to sign, and room for small Trackables. It is now a small camo tub with a "squeeze and twist" lid. The cache has been placed just outside the grounds of the church.
 
St Margarets Stratton Strawless is a small Grade 1 medieval church of considerable interest. Although it has a modest exterior, its interior is full of interest. The church is open daily till dusk and visitors are very welcome, having made the effort to visit the church you really should look inside if it is open. The church has some very special medieval glass, alabaster monuments in the Marsham side chapel and a twenty-five-candle brass chandelier which I think makes the visit well worthwhile.

In this particular case, straightforward means very near something obvious, so stand  near something obvious and plunge your arm in!

Essentially this is a cache and dash at the moment, although there seems to be scope for some good walks in the surrounding countryside. There are several well-marked and signed footpaths nearby.  Although the road opposite the church is fairly quiet, it is narrow and care needs to be taken with parking, which is very limited, and some discretion is needed when searching for the cache.
