Stumbled onto this parking lot by accident ...they are doing a fine job in sprucing up the San Pedro wharf area..
Started out to find a cache I have driven by many times but never tried to find "Friction Material". Got Haley my geodog and started out only to find much construction around the cache site. So we kept driving and stumbled across this parking lot ...void of any cars?? I drove by then pulled a u'ey as we say in Rhode Island and pulled into the lot. It's large and beautifully landscaped and a great place to let Haley run free!! We followed the winding path to the back and placed a cache. I can't imagine when this parking lot will be used so you should be muggle free in you caching experience. After placing this one and heading back to our car I decided to place another one here, the distance was far enough. This container is one that I have had for a very long time and finaly placed. It is hanging but you only need to remove the bottom half to log it, It is approximately 4" by 1". Congratulations to imanxman for another FTF on my Haley's caches!!! Sorry my second cache here did not get posted at the same time or you could have had two FTFs!
