Geocache Description:

Our traditional annual event -- Pinellas Geo Event 6!  October 6th at Phillippe Park.

This event is a full day of activities with a potluck lunch and a lot more.

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE AT: (visit link)

Registration will begin at 9:00 am and lunch will begin at 11:30am. We will provide hot dogs, buns and the condiments. We will also provide paper products (plates, cups, napkins and plastic eating utensils). We are asking everyone who attends to bring a dish to share. Coffee will be available for the early birds!

There will be one free event tag for each cacher that attends (one per Geocaching name)--while supplies last!

Please post a “will attend” log and list how many adults and children attending, and what dish you will be bringing. We need an accurate count in order to have enough food for everyone.

We will have a table available for trading of Travel Bugs & Geocoins and another set up just for discovery. If you are interested, please bring your trackables with you.

New cachers of all experience levels are invited to our popular “Newbie Caching Class” to learn the ropes of hiding and finding geocaches.

COME JOIN THE FUN. THERE WILL BE MANY CHANCES TO WIN PRIZES! THERE ARE SPECIAL DOOR PRIZES JUST FOR THE KIDS... SO BE SURE TO BRING THEM.

Activity Schedule:

9:00 am – Registration and caching begins

9:00 am to 1 pm – Games: GeoBingo and others

10:00 am - Morning newbie caching class

11:30 am – Lunch

12:30 pm – Door prize drawing begins (following lunch)

1:30 pm – Afternoon newbie caching class
