As you probably already know, Grandma Moses found her donkey George on a farm outside the Kentucky Derby. George was running so fast he could easily compete in the race. Grandma Moses bought him right then and there from the Kentuckian farmer and has had many adventures with him since.
One day Grandma Moses rode George down to the county fair. It was a great time for all. Grandma had funnel cake and George got his favorite: biscuits and gravy with orange juice. After the fair Grandma and George went riding in the field late into the night pulling wheelies and other fun donkey tricks. The next day Grandma said she was hung over but George just neighed.
