For years Grandma Moses' best friend has been her pet donkey George. Although they have traveled all around the world together they are most happy when they are at home. George was originally raised as a colt when his owner saw him running around the stable and mistook him for a horse. Back in 38 Grandma Moses realized this was no mistake though and took ol George to the Kentucky Derby. Well, they won first place and as the ol story books say, "The Rest is History."
