Geocache Description:

I never got to meet my oldest brother. My father took him away from us before we were born. I searched for my brother for many years and found many clues about him but I never could find him. I think my brother took a different name from us six for I never could find a “Brown” who seemed like the rest of us. As a child I would often have dreams of my brother. I would see him in a crowd of people but as I neared he would disappear. In time I learned to forget about my brother but deep down I still longed to meet him. When we were young my dad would take us to an old building down town and spoke of the “the pride of our family.” My father seemed sad but we never understand why.

My dad left a great legacy to us kids but an even greater mystery about our brother. All of my life I have been haunted by my brother, I only wish I could have known him. I have spent my years collecting what information I could find about him. It was not until I was older and became a Grandma that I discovered an old photograph in my dad's study. It was dated before I was born so I imagine the boy in the picture could only be my brother. On the back of the picture I found a set of clues. I'm not sure what they mean, but I believe they will lead to finding my brother.
