Geocache Description:

A puzzle cache located in the Wards Wildlife Site in the town of Elgin

The position given is not the final location of the cache which is located less than 100 mteres away.

The cache is a small plastic tub that can hold geocoins or small TBs.

The Wards Wildlife Site is a large square area of boggy land lying between Elgin and New Elgin immediately to the south of the Aberdeen-Inverness railway line, also known to the locals as the "Wetlands". While rather untidy in appearance, the site is an important habitat for many birds and animals.

Visitors are able to follow an all-weather path around the perimeter that allows good views of the local wildlife. The 1-mile path around the Wetlands should take about 20 minutes to walk and is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

Parking is available along Edgar Road (N57º38.322 W003º19.235).

The animals of the Wetlands have left you the following clue to the actual location of the cache:

Cache placed with kind permission of Moray Council
