This location is the car park for the nearby memorial monument. The views of the surrounding countryside are spectacular from here on a clear day. Nearby are a number of stones erected to commemorate the victory of the United Irish that took place at this location in 1798.
The location of the monument itself can be reached via a short walk along a path that contains a number of other memorial stones.
The cache is a disguised micro container, though I've also been told it's been changed by someone along the way.
Driving: This is as far as you can get. To get to the location of the memorial and its cache, you will need to park up and walk from this point on.
The cache at the memorial itself no longer exists (something I hope to change) - it's well worth a visit as it's most unusual and unique in nature - try singing inside it - the acoustics are incredible.
