Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates!

Batman is known as the World's Greatest Detective, so we are going to be releasing a Detective Work Series.  Part of Batman's job is visiting a crime scene and collecting information, so that he can solve the case.  These mystery caches will require you to go to a place to collect information so that you can solve the cache location.

This first one was inspired by Cache number 6 by snowbird2 at the Detroit Zoo.  We will not be copying the puzzle type, but we had so much fun while visiting the zoo, we decided to give others a caching experience while visiting the Henry Ford Museum.  We will follow it up with a Greenfield Village one if someone doesn't beat us to it.

You can probably solve this puzzle with a Google search or other methods that don't involve the scavenger hunt, but we created it for those that want to add to their Henry Ford visit. Feel free to solve it any way you like, but the experience is what we are aiming for in this mystery cache, not an uncrackable puzzle.

The crime scenes are located at the Henry Ford Museum.  If you want to solve this the traditional way, you will have to visit the museum.  The hours for the museum are 9:30am-5pm everyday. The final cache location is in an area that does not require admission, but we ask that you only visit this during the hours that the museum is open. Now onto the puzzle. For this puzzle, you will have to find 14 different crime scenes and collect a number. The number you will be looking for is the ones digit in the year associated with the item. For example, if the year is 1980, then you will need the 0 to solve the puzzle. The 14 crime scenes are in order of the coordinate, with the first seven making up the North and the second seven making up the West. (Make sure to pay special attention to the title of the picture as some have multiple items).

North

Here are the titles again in written form in case your GPSr doesn't support images.

Good luck! If needed, feel free to punch your coordinates into the geochecker, which is connected to the Batcomputer!
