PART ONE
Clive was playing poker with three friends. Can you identify players 1 to 4, work out which poker hand they each hold and find which individual cards each player has in their hand:

1) Ten cards of each colour are being held. Aubrey's cards are all the same colour and they include a Jack.

2) Player 1 has the only 10. Another player has a pair of Jacks but they are not the same colour.

3) Tony, who is not holding a picture card, is sitting immediately clockwise from Aubrey, one of whose cards is the 6 of diamonds and he also has a pair of another card.

4) The player opposite Rodney holds the 7 of clubs, and the player opposite the one with the 9 of hearts holds the highest card overall, which is black.

5) Less clubs are being held than any other suit. Someone has a royal flush.

6) All four of the 3's are being held between two players who happen to be sitting opposite each other. The lowest ranking hand is two pair.

7) One player has a pair of red 9's. The player with four of a kind is not sitting in position 2.

8) Rodney has two hearts amongst his full house, but his hand is ranked lower than the player with the 3 of diamonds in his hand.

PART TWO
Assign each playing card a value from 1 to 52 with the ace of diamonds being the lowest card, and increasing in value with clubs being the next suit value and spades being the highest.

Use these values to calculate the final location as follows:

North 51 40. Add Rodney's table position to (total of Rodney's 4 lowest cards value + all Tony's cards value + Aubrey's lowest card's value)

East 0 45. Take Rodney's table position from ((Aubrey's total card value + Clive's total card value) x Rodney's position at the table)
