Greenwood-Irving Cemetery Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mama_Dawn: After talking with the last DNF crew, I confirmed it was gone. Since I am no longer in the area, I'm going to have to let this one go. Thanks to everyone who found it.

Geocache Description:

This is another one of those places I was always surprised didn’t have a cache at it already. Not only because it is a great place for one, but because of the cool history of the location.

The original graves here are from two cemeteries at Irving, KS that were moved in 1959 when the town was destroyed to make way for the creation of Tuttle Creek Lake/Dam. Aside from these graves, all that physically remains of Irving is a sign and a mailbox near Zenith and 12th Roads in Marshall County.

Congrats to ksuplowboy on the FTF!!
