The Maple - mighty, strong and Canadian! We honour this national treasure in so many ways. It is adorned on our national flag and was also the symbol chosen for the penny. It brings forth national pride and a great sticky mouth watering treat that is amazing on pancakes or cooked into a delectable treat of fudge and toffee.
