Another important native of Vernon County, Missouri

Harry Truman said " My guns were the best in France.  The Chief mechanic deserves the credit."
McKinley Wooden, (1895-1998) raised around Walker, Mo, just east of Nevada, was chief mechanic of Battery 'D'  129th F.A. 60th Brigade 35th Division.  Commanded by Harry S. Truman in World War I.
McKinley served with Harry in four different campagins in WWI.
He won the 1992 Harry Truman Silver Veterans Medal and the 1998 President of France Legion of Honor.

The cache is a camoed plastic container with log, a T.B. (to start with) and some swag.
