A short offset micro cache on the old A43 route
'The Old Road South'
===============
The cache is sited on part of the old road south towards Oxford, if you look at the overhead satellite view you can clearly see the path of the original road. It was abandoned when the A34 was built, and this part is now local access only for a couple of fields. Footpaths 398/7 passes along here.
You can park at the head of the footpath (see Waypoint) and wander down this peaceful section of old road to the end. Here you will find some large grey metal objects which are used in connection with a powerful force and have an odd female theme! You need to solve the following multi to find the cache coordinates, which can be found at:
N 51 51.(B*3)(A+D)(C-B-A)
W 1 11.(E*A)(D-E-A)(B+E)
All clues are at the trailhead / parking area
A = number of steps on stile
B = number of digits on one side of the sign
C = number of words on the sign (total of 24 characters)
D = number of horizontal bars on the metal gate
E = number of diagonal struts on the gate
Please go carefully to the final location, it's not far but you may prefer to drive as you can park nearby. Nikola's other force is at work here!
There is useful information in some caches in this series for the forthcoming puzzle cache in the 'The Old Road South' series
