KVARNER Cache 76 is located at Platak - a small family ski resort in immediate distance to Rijeka with numerable possibilities for recreation during the winter just as during the summer. It is the only ski resort near us where you can enjoy the view on the sea from the top of cableway (1.363 m). Besides skiing, Platak offers other forms of winter fun. There is also a possibility of renting the complete ski equipment on the ski resort.
Night skiing on Platak is possible on the trail “Radeševo 1”. This trail, in length of 1200 m, is entirely lit up and the view reaches to the sea and you can also enjoy the view on lit up cities Rijeka and Opatija.
Except in winter, Platak is also very popular during the summer time as a destination for numerous mountain lovers. In only a few hours walking distance through maintained and marked mountain paths, there are peaks Snjeznik and Risnjak with their beautiful lookouts. Macadam roads along Platak are outstanding for mountain biking or relaxing hiking through nature.
