This is the second in our "Gone but not Forgotten" series and is in memory of our brother, Edward.
As a farmer's son, Ed helped with the chores, including the dreaded "rock-picking". The field at this location was difficult to pick rocks in, due to its rocky knoll. All those rocks may have triggered Ed's interest in geology. He attended the University of Waterloo and became a geological engineer.
Ed married his high school sweetheart and they had three children. A devoted dad, he was involved in all sorts of activities with his kids.
He died while on a Mexican vacation on Feb 9th, 2009. A "gentle giant" with a huge heart, Ed will long be remembered for his laugh, and big hugs.
Ed liked a challenge, so we made this a "not-so-easy" park and grab!
