Geocache Description:

This is Squint Lake Park. I thought this would be a great place to place a cache. Well I found a place for the cache but the lake is harder to find.

The lake is surrounded by the golf course so non-golfing visitors are not able to enjoy it

THIS CACHE IS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE

There is still a lot to enjoy here. Softball/baseball is played on a 4 diamond natural grass field that is kept in great shape. A forested area with trails wraps around the softball fields and is a gorgeous walk with your dog all year round.

One word of caution. This park is very close to the heavily forested area of Burnaby Mountain where bears, cougars and coyotes seem to live in greater numbers each year. Keep a close eye on your surroundings and keep your pets safety in mind.

The cache is located two steps from one of the main trails easily found if you are in a wheelchair.
