Please see all the general information about Katelios and this series on #1 GC4E57E This is the second of 12 caches in the circular. September 2015 - replaced and relocated again :), clue changed this time. NB: September 2014. This appeared to be missing so has been replaced further away from the clue item. The original coods are in a log entry in case anyone would like to look for the original - particularly as it contains a TB :(
If you are continuing on foot (see NB on #1 about driving), after finding the first cache you will be continuing on to your left, walking over the 'river' .. Also known as 'the duck pond' (not usually much more than a trickle in the summer) mentioned in the general description. "Agia Barbara, the main beach (of Katelios), offers fantastic views across the Ionian Sea, to the island of Zakynthos and Killini on the mainland." http://albouroapartments.com/pages/kefalonia.html Opposite the cache site there are benches where you can sit in the shade and really enjoy the view. You can see the whole of the bay from here, Mounda/kaminia beaches are over to your left. you can see Zakynthos across to your right and the mainland across the water to your left if it's clear enough. You are looking for a small box containing a hook key ring, a glitter ball key ring, a log and a pencil. NB!! You will find a number in each of the caches in the circular, please make a note of each one if you would like a badge to display on your profile. All of our Kefalonian caches are being maintained by friends on the island in between our visits.
