This cache is located by what was a part of the Isle of Wight railway network.
The track bed is now used as a part of the Newport to Sandown cycle route.
It also is an easy pleasant all-weather walk across the centre of the island
This cache can be visited along with others in the area such as one at Merstone old station, 'Off, Over and Hanging around the Beaten Track' and several others on the route to Newport.
This is a small cylindrical cache (Bison).
Contains just a log - no pencil.
It is hanging at chest height on a small tree.
