We are now also pushing the Florence Challenge along with this Event.
Come early to Florence and start the Challenge hitting the outer parts of Florence. ALL Librarys have a container at the posted cords. with a clue for the Cache Container and a clue for the coin Challenge.
Then come on over to Darlington for lunch and a Racetrack coin then get back to knocking out the Florence Coin Challenge. Florence Coins will be avail. late in the day so enjoy yourself.

Groundspeak and the Darlington Raceway had given us permission to make a Geocoin with Pee Dee Geocachers Logo on one side and the Darlington Logo on the other to be given out during the event.

We will also Have Florence Coins avail. for pickup if you have finished the Florence Challenge.
We had been given permission to hide caches around the property but since a scare happened at the track we were asked to take them down untill we can come up with a solution. We want to still give everyone a chance to log the caches as well as get the coin. If you do not feel right logging them i understand but you DO have my permission. All i ask is you say good things so i can at a future time take the logs to the powers that be at the track to try and get caches put back up. There will be no containers avail at the posted cords this weekend so please don't look around the track. I hope there may be again in the future. We will be setting up just inside in the side room. Look for our Pee Dee Geocachers Banner. Come on out and enjoy some caching around the track grounds and learn more about caching and the fun things starting to take place in the Pee Dee.
There were only 200 minted and once they are gone then that's it.
For those working on the Florence coin late we will have the Florence coin avail at the later event this same day and also at the Wallacefamilysc HQ here in Darligton after that.
