The Drakensberg range extends from the Eastern Cape, through KwaZulu Natal, Lesotho and into Mpumulanga, and has some majestic views. In the Southern Berg, THIS MUST BE ONE OF THE BEST !
Travelling along the R617 towards the town of Underberg, there are numerous quick glimpses and sightings of the Drakensberg. The cache is placed near the first real panoramic majestic view of the SOUTHERN DRAKENSBERG. There is a well defined pull off the road to this well frequented picnic spot and view site.
ENJOY the scenery, and remember the cache. PLEASE publish photographs of the Berg with your log, as the same scene changes dramatically depending on the time of day and the season when you visit this cache. It will be great comparing a huge compilation of photos over time of this spectacular landscape. No spoilers as to the cache, and please return the cache as you found it. Bring your own pen ! ENJOY !
