Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the old Inveramsey - MacDuff Branch Railway line which opened in 1857 and closed to passengers in 1951. The school carpark is where the train station used to be.

If parking near the school please be aware that you will be walking past the school playground to get onto the old railway line (ideal for people with buggies or like an easy walk. The other option is to park at the bowling green and climb up the embankment near the bridge (this one is far more interesting).
