Eugene was never on time for anything. His reasoning for this, he took a shortcut. His shortcuts were almost always out of the way and took longer than traditional routes. These shortcuts did, however, take you through some scenic areas with less traffic. To this day, whenever someone is late, they use the excuse, "I took Eugene's shortcut."
This series of Geocaches will do the same thing. Bring you to places outside of traditional routes and into some scenic areas.
Welcome to Mars. Yes, this really was a community known as Mars. The historical marker nearby will explain things much better than I can.
