The Longwell Green Mega Series has been revived! Below is the description from the original cache owner, LWG Mystery Cacher, who has expressed his longing to continue maintaining this series but is unable to do so for personal reasons:
"This is number 17 of a 24 caches set up in a 7.43 mile circular walk most of the caches are set up in a distance ranging from 0.2 - 0.35 miles. The walk takes you up through Hanham Hills down into Hanham Woods, then past the Chocolate Factory and through Willsbridge Mill, then through Longwell Green back to your car. Please try to do these caches as a day walk (instead of doing a few at a time), for me setting it up. It took 3½ hours and there are a couple of pubs and restaurants on the way. (a perfect place for a break) parking is available feet from the first cache."
In order to complete the series, you may require gloves (for those pesky nettles), some wellies (for when it's been raining!), your own pen or pencil, and whatever knick knacks or trackables you may wish to swap. We do not recommend wearing shorts in the summer months as some of the paths can get rather nettly.
#17 is a small container with knick-knacks and a log book.
