Geocache Description:

If you are familiar with the movie Top Gun, you will understand the cache title.  My two young boys and I love aviation. We like to attend airshows each year, and decided to place a few caches near airports, airparks and/or landing strips.  This cache is near the Cleburne Regional Airport, but not on airport property.

airplane gif photo: Bomber gif airplane.gif Did you know that the runway is 5697 feet long x 100 feet wide, capable of landing large aircraft?! There are many corporate jets that come and go, and I remember recently that two Blackhawk helicopters landed to refuel, which was quite a sight. You will frequently see Careflite, Air Evac Lifeteam and many private aircraft visiting this airport.  *LOOKING FOR a small pill canister with log only. Bring your own pen! Congrats to sonnyrae for the FTF!
