Walking at Lake Clifton


Instead, they will put you in front of the sign pictured above. This is the start and end point of the Lake Clifton Walk Trail.


Lakeside Loop Trail
5km return. Allow 2 hours.
"Discover the relationships of plants, animals, soils and stone on this moderate walk with gentle slope over sand and some limestone."


Being geocachers, you won't need to be reminded to take water, sun protection and mozzie repellent with you. So, off you go. Enjoy your walk!

You will need to stop at each of the nine waypoints along the way. At each, you will find a plaque from which you need to note some information. It might help if you take photo of each as you go around.

Waypoint 1: a = 6th line, 1st word, number of letters?

Waypoint 2: b = 3rd line, 2nd word, number of letters?

Waypoint 3: c = 4th line, 1st word, number of letters?

Waypoint 4: d = 2nd line, 6th word, number of letters?

Waypoint 5: e = 1st line, 3rd word, number of letters?

Waypoint 6: f = 3rd line, 3rd word, number of letters?

Waypoint 7: g = 1st line, first word, number of letters?

Waypoint 8: h = 2nd line, third word, number of letters?

Waypoint 9: i = 5th line, first word, number of letters?


The cache can now be found at S32° 44.ABC, E115° 39.DEF, where:

A = a – 2

B = b + g – 6

C = c – 6

D = d – h – 1

E = e – 2

F = i – f – 1


The cache is just a short distance off the track between Waypoint 9 and the carpark.
