This is a cute little park, where they seem to have tried to pack all kinds of "activities" into the smallest space possible. While here, I noticed a fountain, books, statues, famous literary quotes, a clock, a 911 memorial tree, a labyrinth walk, chess tables, a sun dial, donor plaques, and a wall for the armed forces.
With something for those that like reading, board games, meditating, and reflecting, I thought I would leave something for those with a geocaching spirit.
The final cache is at N 33 5A.BCD W 118 0E.FGH
At the posted coords, you will find a big statue. Feel free to read the story. Then, on the vertical page, look at the last word on the first line and the last word on the last line. The name of one of the people who spoke one of the quotes on the ground can be made by using the letters in these two words. (The amount of times the letters appears doesn't matter. Just as long as all the same letters are used and no others.) Find the quote by this person.
A=the number of letters in the 6th word of this quote
B=the number of times the word "good" appears in this quote
Find the quote by the person with initials WS
C=the number of letters in the last word of the quote
D you may have to fight a battle more than this many times
Based on the quotes, who would think that this garden was soulless if it didn't contain the large items at GZ?
Using A=1 B=2 C=3 etc
E=Value of the first letter in the person's name
F=Value of the third letter in the person's LAST name
Find the quote by Franklin
G=Number of times the word "good" appears in the quote
H=Number of times the letter "e" appears in the first word
Check your coords.
The final location was renovated and the statue that previously housed the cache is gone. To get the current final, add 4 to the north and 5 to the west coords and look low at the end.
