These facilities are always closed.
But, there is an open day in summer vacation and children are able to enter this facilities every year.
It is very large facilities, but a place to be able to look at this is limited.

JR東京総合車両センターは品川区の中央にあるＪＲの施設です。
山手線の全ての電車の点検や修繕を行っていた旧山手電車区と、東京地域の車両の検収や改造を行っている大井工場を統合して、JR東京総合車両センターとなりました。
毎年夏休みには一般公開日があり、内部に入ることができます。
広大な施設ですが間近でみれる場所が限られます。
その一つがここです。
山手線の点検整備のために入ってくる電車を眺めることができます。
