We have driven passed this location hundreds of times but have never stopped off to have a look. I always wished someone would place a cache here just to give me an excuse to have a nose around . This cache was placed next to Woverley pound . The pound was cut out of solid sandstone in around 1700. Three stables can still clearly be seen . The purpose of the pound was to house stray animals until they were claimed by their owners . You do not need to enter the pound . You do not need to pull at any sandstone .
