Located not too far from road. Parking is ample. Contains Log book, pencil, and pencil sharpener. Initial placement also contains a trackable dog "Missy", aptly named after his silent partner, who accompanied his backcountry adventures for more than 14 years.
The end of the series "This old man, he played..." This Geocache was put together on Fathers Day 2013, in honor of our Dad / Grandpa. The Geocache name derives from the hairy wildflower that grows mostly above timberline where we used to backpack as a family, so 18 of us today had to pick from a hat, and vote for a name, that was the winner! All the contents in the container were chosen as a memory of Dad / Grandpa and we all told a story about them as we presented them to him today. Some participants included spottedpony, Crazy4camping, several muggles and a geodog.
