GC4D - THE MATCH STASH
This is, by registration date, the oldest currently active geocache in Sweden and the second oldest in Europe. It is still being maintained by its original owner.
The cache was however dormant from 2003-2010, and restarted in time to the ten-year worldwide geocaching jubilaeum.
Cache code GC4D, means Geocache #4D in hexadecimal notation, that is, the 77th geocache worldwide.
Match Stash existed before Geocaching.com even existed, a rough manual cache listing was maintained by Mike Teague, the world's first geocache finder, before this.
The name comes from that the cache originally contained a lot of safety matches.

In the woods of Sätra close to some trails. Brief off-path steep walking required but should be a very easy find as long as there is little or no snow on the ground.
During daytime, consider supporting the nearby café in the horse farm by having a fika (sw: coffee break with buns etc) or soup lunch.
It is just a hundred meters south of the little hill the cache is located on.
